This is a music video for my single "The Painter"! It is also the first shortfilm I've ever directed. “The Painter” looks at how a person’s emotional turmoil is deeply intertwined with their surroundings. It chronicles the struggle a relationship between creator and creation has, that at times could be one of mutual admiration but also one of mutual neglect. Similar to a twin, an inseparable part of the artist that serves as a constant reminder of internal processes. Van Gogh's brushstrokes were said to capture his inner world and his internal dialogue of repressed emotion. This story further illuminates this journey, highlighting how art can be a cathartic outlet when facing difficult times.

I directed and produced this Music Video for artist J-OSH. This film is a story between the past and the present. It opens by showing our Heroine walking onto the graveyard. Through a tender ritual, she is reunited with her deceased partner, whose spirit is bound to this world by unresolved affairs. Over their reunited happiness hangs the scythe of tragedy. The Heroine hands her a letter, which informs the Spirit that her husband, her murderer finally has been captured in court and stands trial. Learning this information, sets the spirit free and the two face each other for a last goodbye.
